Terms & Conditions
Before confirming your order with Royal Sprinkle Cakes, please read the below Terms and Conditions. This document tells you the terms and conditions in which we sell and supply goods to you. Payment of your booking deposit confirms your agreement with our Terms and Conditions.
Booking
To secure your booking with Royal Sprinkle Cakes, we require a non-refundable booking deposit of £100 for wedding orders, and at least 50% of the total amount due for celebrations cakes and all other products. we will let you specifically how much deposit you will need to pay at the time of booking. Your date is not secured and your order is not confirmed until we have received the booking deposit.
All quotations will be sent via are valid for 7 days from date of issue. We reserve the right to revise prices after this period.
Remaining Balance
For Wedding Orders, the balance of your invoice must be paid in full no later than 4 weeks before the date of delivery.
For Celebration Cake orders and all other orders, the balance of your invoice must be paid in full no later than 1 week before the date of delivery unless agreed otherwise.
Cancellations
All cancellations must be made in writing. If for any reason you have to cancel your booking, the booking deposit is non-refundable.
For cancellations of wedding orders, with less than 4 weeks’ notice, the full payment (including the booking deposit) is non-refundable. For cancellations of celebrations cakes and all other orders, with less than 1 weeks’ notice, the full payment (including booking deposit) is non-refundable.
Return and exchange
All cakes are made to order therefore cannot be exchanged or returned. In the extremely rare event that there is a fault with your order, please ensure you return the cake to us the moment you notice this.
We will conduct a quality check and consider a full or partial refund, only where a fault has been detected.
Delivery/Set Up
We are happy to deliver your cakes at an extra charge. This will be included in your initial quote.
(We prefer to deliver and set up cakes that are 3 tiers and more however, if you would prefer to pick up and set up your cake, we will not be liable for any damage as cake becomes your full responsibility once picked up).
Once the order has been delivered and set up or collected you are responsible for it and we will not accept any responsibility for any loss or damage arising. If the cake is moved after set up we will not take any responsibility for any loss or damage arising. Royal Sprinkle is not liable for any damage that may occur thereafter, including someone bumping into the cake, child damage, or any other possible causes.
If you request that we leave your cakes somewhere or with someone, this is your responsibility. We will not be liable if they do not arrive with you safely after we have handed them over.
For celebration cakes, If you will like to collect your cake, Collection from Lanesfield Wolverhampton is free.
Delivery cost is dependent on distance from WV4 Wolverhampton and would need to be confirmed via email after purchase
Postponements
If you wish to postpone your wedding booking date for any reason, you must request this by email, and we will check our availability. A £20 postponement admin fee would apply. All deposit payments would then be transferred to the new date and any items listed in the invoice, provided they are available.
In the event that Royal Sprinkle Cakes are not available for the postponed Wedding/Event date, our cancellation policy (above) remains. Postponements are available up until 4 weeks before the scheduled event date, after this, dates are non-transferable and final balances for the original dates are payable.
Hire Items
We have a variety of props and cake stands available to rent.
A flat rate of £25 applies for cake stands and a refundable security deposit of £70 is required. The deposit will be fully refunded once the item is returned in the exact condition.
All hire items belong to Royal Sprinkle Cakes and must not be defaced, tampered with or changed. All breakages, loss or damages must be paid to replace like for like within 7 days of event.
All hire items are your responsibility until they are returned back to Royal sprinkle Cakes.
Damaged, broken or lost Items will remain the property of Royal Sprinkle Cakes and a replacement charge will be invoiced to the Customer for any products that are damaged, broken or lost. These items will be invoiced to the Customer to replace like for like including P&P. Unless stated otherwise all hire items must be returned within 3 days of hire.
Final Design
We will create your orders exactly as written throughout correspondence and in the confirmation email/phone consultation which is sent 4 weeks before the delivery date. Please double check that it is detailed as you require.
By paying your final invoice, you are confirming that what is detailed on the final confirmation is exactly what you want us to provide.
Allergies
We cannot guarantee that any of our products do not contain any substance that may cause some form of allergic reaction. You are responsible for advising your guests of this and we will not accept any liability for any loss, damage or injury from exposure to anything which might cause an allergic reaction. This may include, but without limitation, nuts, nut products, dairy, wheat, sulphates or colouring.
You should also note that some decorations are not edible (fresh flowers, wires, ribbons, pins, jewels, boards, etc). You are responsible for advising your guests of this and we will not accept any liability for any loss, damage, illness or injury arising from any such exposure.
A dietary list of ingredients can be provided to you if required. This must be requested a minimum of 4 weeks before your event. If a venue require a list of ingredients this is to be requested via you and not the venue
Our products contain gluten, wheat, dairy, eggs (unless you have opted for eggless versions) and may contain traces of nuts unless otherwise stated.
We are willing to accommodate for certain allergies however, please consider this is a working kitchen full of a wide range of ingredients. We will use the correct ingredients for your allergy but we cannot guarantee it will be free from that particular requirement due to the kitchen it is baked in. We accept no liability for customers suffering allergic reactions from eating our cakes. Whilst each bake may not directly contain allergens, we do not recommend they are consumed by persons with any allergies or dietary requirements as they may contain traces.
The following ingredients are used in my standard cakes and cupcakes:
Self Raising Flour, Butter, Caster Sugar, Eggs, Milk, Flavourings (if requested), Icing Sugar, Cream, Whitening, White Chocolate (for fondant cakes), Fondant Covering, may contain traces of nuts.

Royal Sprinkle Cakes do not hold any responsibility for adverse weather conditions affecting access to any venue. Royal sprinkle Cakes will give every attempt to get to the venue only when it is deemed safe..
Royal sprinkle Cakes cannot be held responsible for ‘Acts of God’ (Fire, flood etc), Government Advice, Pandemics, labour disputes, failure of electricity supply and any other unforeseeable circumstance that prevent the promise of its services.
Royal Sprinkle Cakes reserve the rights to review and update the Terms and Conditions periodically.
Photographs of Your Cake
We reserve the right to take and use our photos of your cake(s) to use for marketing and promotional purposes, including advertising and promotion without compensation to you. We may also request photographs from your photographer including photograph of you cutting your cake for the same purpose again without compensation to you, though we may be able to credit the photographer in some marketing if agreed by us and the photographer. If you do not wish for us to use photos of you cutting your cake for marketing purposes, speak to us about this at the time of your booking.
Liability for Mistakes
While we will make every effort to provide exact details you have requested, the creation of a wedding cake is an art and may be subject to slight variations by the creator(s), including colour shades. You are welcome to send us photos for inspiration but we do not create an exact replica of another baker's work.
We do not provide refunds if:
• The customer or someone ordering for them gives us the wrong date, address for delivery, or time.
• We are not responsible for any additional expenses that you may receive because of wrong date, address or time given.
• Refunds requested due to colour/shade/tint, of decorations or misunderstanding about
the design, misunderstanding of the overall general design concept, ordering a flavour you didn’t like or failure to order what you actually wanted; imperfections caused by weather, heat, humidity, rain, ice, freezing, snow or other factors beyond our control will not be honoured.
Privacy
The privacy and security of your information is important to us. This Privacy Notice explains the types of personal data we may collect about you, how we use it, who we share it with and how long we keep it for.
This privacy policy may change from time to time. We will not explicitly inform our clients or website users of these changes. Instead, we recommend that you check this page occasionally for any policy changes.
To enable us to provide you with the right product or service to meet your needs, we collect personal information from a number of sources including our website contact form, our subscribe form, our shop platform, wedding shows and events.
The personal data we collect is made up of some or all of the following: name, email address, phone number, contact address, dietary requirements. Your personal data is only used to carry out the services we offer.
When paying for products on our website, we use the WixStores and Paypal for all transactions. Therefore we can access the details you share with Paypal when making a purchase on our website. Please refer to Paypal’s Privacy Policy for details of how this information is protected and stored.
Whenever we collect or process your personal data, we will only keep it for as long as is necessary.
We do not share personal data with any third parties, bodies or organisations.
Under Data Protection Law you have the right to request details of any personal information that we hold about you and for this information to be disregarded.
You also have the right to change the permissions that you have given us in relation to how we may use your information and you have the right to request that we stop using your information or that we delete all personal information that we hold relating to you. In the event you are not happy with your cake, please email me on info@royalsprinklecakes.co.uk and we can discuss the issue further.
If you are dissatisfied with any decision or policy that we have made, please contact me so we can explain how that decision or policy was reached.
Our Obligation
We take our obligation to provide your cake very seriously. However, should an unforeseeable event occur which prevents us
from fulfilling our obligation and I must cancel our agreement, a full refund will be issued. In addition, if possible, I will work with you to find another qualified bakery to assist you with your cake and will cooperate in transferring materials to
the new baker. This has never happened... but I just have to say it!
